Human resources

Workplace and SEAH investigations
Peter has built a strong reputation in the safeguarding space, particularly in conducting high-stakes investigations related to sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH). Adopting a survivor-centered approach, he ensures investigations prioritize the dignity, safety, and rights of those affected, while holding organizations accountable to the highest ethical standards.
His investigation experience spans working with European foundations and American INGOs, where he led safeguarding investigations supporting downstream partners in Africa.
CHS Alliance-trained, and Accredited SEAH Investigator.
Governance
Peter is renowned for his thought leadership in governance, where he has played a transformative role in designing and implementing robust governance frameworks. His work encompasses policy development, board management, and compliance oversight, ensuring organizations adopt best practices that enhance decision-making processes and accountability.
His strategic guidance has empowered organizations to navigate complex governance challenges with confidence and integrity.
Safeguarding
Peter has been a pioneering force in integrating safeguarding standards into the non-profit and sports sectors in Africa, ensuring that organizations uphold the highest levels of accountability and protection. By applying frameworks such as the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS) and the IASC Guidelines, he has strengthened safeguarding practices in CBOs, NGOs, Foundations, Social Enterprises, Corporates and in Sports Organizations, where children and vulnerable adults are often participants.
His approach ensures that organizations are not only accountable to their communities / clients, but also implement effective measures to prevent exploitation and abuse, while providing robust support for survivors.
He has facilitated safeguarding orientation training in various sectors including senior executives, sports coaches, development sector staff and for faith-based organizations (i.e catholic church) in various parts of Africa, fostering a culture of safeguarding that prioritizes the protection and well-being of those most at risk.
