About the engagement
Power Governors Limited is one of the manufacturing family businesses IFFB works with on governance and succession. Over the course of this engagement, PGL's leadership team went through two of IFFB's core programs: the Family Business Leadership Program (FBLP) and a dedicated Corporate Governance & Board Practices program, built around the realities of running an industrial family business.
Family Business Leadership Program (FBLP)
FBLP is IFFB's flagship program for equipping the next generation of family leaders with the skills to run, and eventually own, the business responsibly. For PGL, this meant working through leadership development, decision-making frameworks, and the practical realities of stepping into a family-run manufacturing business.
Corporate Governance & Board Practices
This program works with a family business's board and senior leadership to build clear governance structures, defined board practices, and decision-making processes that stand up as the company grows. For PGL, that meant strengthening how the board and family ownership work together as the business scales.
