Dr. Fred Ochieng

Dr. Fred Ochieng is an accomplished leader, governance expert, and development practitioner with extensive experience in organizational leadership, strategy, and corporate governance. He currently serves as Africa Director for Ripple Effect, where he leads operations and strategic delivery across six African countries, supporting smallholder farmers and rural communities through sustainable development initiatives.

An Adjunct Lecturer at USIU-Africa, Dr. Ochieng teaches leadership, management, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, and organizational development at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. He also facilitates leadership and governance training and assessments for organizations and professionals.

Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Regional Director of Brooke East Africa, where he led the organization's expansion across multiple countries and strengthened partnerships with regional and international institutions. Holding doctoral and master's degrees in business and organizational development, alongside certification as a Company Director, Dr. Ochieng brings a wealth of expertise in leadership, governance, organizational change, and strategic growth. He currently serves as Chair of the Advisory Council of the Directors Forum.
