Dr. James Wanjangi (PhD)

Dr. James Wanjagi is a leadership strategist, executive coach, governance expert, and Founder & CEO of Iricon Group Limited and Iricon Leadership School. With over 25 years of multidisciplinary leadership experience across technology, banking, fintech, academia, consulting, and the non-profit sector, he has held senior executive positions both in Kenya and internationally.

A seasoned consultant, Dr. Wanjagi has worked with global organizations including Deloitte, Wells Fargo, Anadarko Petroleum, Cameron International, and Aviva Insurance, specializing in strategy execution, project management, change management, leadership development, and organizational transformation. He is deeply passionate about family businesses, entrepreneurship, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, helping organizations and SMEs achieve growth and long-term success.

An accomplished educator and mentor, he has trained over 1,500 MBA and executive education participants, developed nearly 100 organizational strategies, and coached more than 200 entrepreneurs and leaders. Holding a PhD in Organizational Management and certifications in Project Management, Change Management, Executive Coaching, and Governance, Dr. Wanjagi brings extensive expertise in leadership, strategy, governance, and business transformation.
